Welcome & Opening Address
A senior leadership view on knowing when to be "Agile" and when to be "Nimble" in undergoing strategic transformation. The discussion will go through various learnings from decades of building, creating, growing, and improving quality teams using various methodologies as well as Agile.

- Francis Ongpin Lock Chiu, Country Manager, ITRS
Companies may sometimes forget that there is a need for people transformation and the essential mindset shift when going into Agile. Beyond the new tools -- the mindset, tactical and perhaps even structural changes in our testing teams also need to evolve in order to be truly Agile.  This session aims to help the attendees figure out and discover what are the necessary changes that need to take place in their teams.  In order to do that, we will go back to the basics (and maybe go back in time as well) so that we don't get lost in "Agile" tools that we use today - Chris Cochran, Senior Manager / International Agile Coach, Alorica Philippines, Inc.
Patterns of software quality problems consistently emerge when teams aim higher levels of agility, and these challenges are way beyond automation, writing acceptance checks, and other agile testing practices. In this session, we’ll talk about the core principles in improving product quality within agile teams and explore a few practices that worked in different agile contexts.

- Ian Pestelos, Founder / Principal Agile Coach, Agility.ph
This will be an interactive session where participants will join a table to discuss the round table topic - Agile Testing & Test Automation . Each table has a "Topic Guru" to facilitate the discussion.
Design Thinking - a first step to Agile Testing and will center around Design Thinking, more than Agile Testing. The Testing phase here will be more about Prototyping.
- Sheila Andes, Agile Transformation Leader, IBM Solutions Delivery, Inc
The Scrum Guide describes that "Scrum Teams are self-organizing and cross-functional. Self-organizing teams choose how best to accomplish their work, rather than being directed by others outside the team. Cross-functional teams have all competencies needed to accomplish the work without depending on others not part of the team." However, the journey to becoming an effective and agile team is never easy.

In this session, we will discuss a few real-life stories of teams. And we will review some of the lessons learned as we explore their testing activities, challenges, opportunities, and results.

- Don Escuro, Director, Development, Finastra
Transforming a company's existing set of processes, strategies, and tools when dealing with different testing requirements and performance issues will always be a challenge. This talk focuses on the practical strategies on how to design, prepare, and evolve effective test automation environments. We'll discuss how teams can utilize these strategies to meet the different needs of the business.
- Joshua Arvin Lat, Chief Technology Officer, Complete Business Online Pty Ltd
